2017 FKK Summer Camp

The FKK Summer Camps for Boys & Girls:
June 5 – 9, 2017

We will provide an environment that will accommodate all levels of play. If your child is new to the game or has been with the game for years, this camp will meet all those needs.

Goalkeepers
Goalkeeper training will be provided. All the technical and tactical aspects of goalkeeping will be covered.

Games
Small sided and full sided games with be the focus of the late part of the morning

Competition
There will be various competitive contests set up for all campers. These contests will be modified for specific age groups. Prizes will be given to the winners of each contest at our closing ceremonies at 11:30 am on the last day of camp. Coaches will also select a camper of the week in each age group. Parents are invited to attend these “fun” ceremonies.

Dress Days

Monday – Registration. Bring signed medical release form and camp waiver.
Each camper will receive an Nike ball and camp shirt to wear on Friday.

Tuesday – Jersey Day. Wear your favorite MLS or International Jersey

Wednesday – Patriotic Day.Wear your best red white and blue

Thursday – Crazy Sock Day. Who has the craziest

Friday – Camp Shirt Day.  Wear your camp shirt

Best dressed awards will be given for each dress up day

Curriculum

Day 1:
Introduction of Staff to Campers and Parents
Dribbling & Moves with Focus on 1 v 1 Activities

Day 2:
Trapping & Passing with Focus on 2v2 Activities
Speed and Agility by SSP (Campers Age 9+)

Day 3:
Finishing to Goal with Focus on 6v6 Activities
Proper Techniques = Power and Finesse

Day 4: TBD

Day 5:
Small Sided Games and Competitions
Closing Ceremonies at 2:00pm (Parents Invited)

NOTE: Goalkeepers Specialized Training (One Hour Daily)

FAQ

Do the campers need to bring their own ball?
No, each camper will be given a Nike ball at the first day of camp. The camper will be responsible for that ball over the duration of the camp.

In case of an emergency, what number do I call?
Tim Roberts  is the Camp Director. He can be  emailed troberts@floridakrazekrush.com. You can also contact the FKK office at 407.542.4939. They will contact the on-site staff with your message.

Is there a trainer on site?
Yes, an athletic trainer will be on site throughout the camp. They will be making sure that all the kids are being hydrated and handle all injuries that may occur. If a player needs to be taped, please bring your own pre-wrap and tape. All prescription medication needs to given to the trainer with the specific dosage amounts and times.

What are the refund policies?
There are no refunds after the first day of camp. There will be a cancellation fee of $35 prior to the first day of camp.

Is there a lunch package that can be purchased?
No. The camp will end just before lunch.

Do the campers get a break during the camp?
Yes, the campers will get breaks throughout the morning for water and a snack if they are hungry.

Can I come out and watch my child?
Yes, you are allowed to come out and watch your child at the camp. We would appreciate you only observe the camp and not cheer or yell at your child.

Where do we check-in?
The Check-in location will be at CWP, Fields G and I (for Field G, you can drive/park around in the parks back area/lot)

Where do we drop and pick up our child?

When do they get their T-shirts?
You will get a t-shirt on the third day of camp (Wednesday) to wear on final day.
