After 27 years, the University of Florida women’s soccer program is making major changes to the coaching staff — and FKK will be benefiting.
Typically, it is FKK that sends talent to UF. Now UF is returning the favor. FKK is excited to announce that Vic Campbell will be joining our coaching staff. After years of coaching at UF, Vic has decided to turn his coaching attention to the FKK family.
Vic was a multi-sport stand out at Methodist College while earning his way to becoming a CPA. It was while at Methodist that Vic discovered a passion for coaching. He started as a volunteer assistant and worked up to top assistant. The rest is history. Vic moved on to the University of Florida in 1995 and stayed there for a prolific 26 seasons.
Join us in welcoming Vic, Kerri, Ty, and Elyse (who plays on our 05 ECNL team)!!
I would like to take a moment and thank Hue and the board members for welcoming me into the FKK family. After 27 years at the University of Florida, my intent was to find an organization that shared our similar values of person > player….I found that here at FKK. My goal is to share my experiences and knowledge so that I can help continue to create an environment at FKK that will inspire its members to achieve their fullest potential. This is my time to give back to the game… so hang on FKK, it’s gonna be an adventurous ride!
~ Vic Campbell, University of Florida – Women’s Soccer, Assistant Head Coach
Vic and I have had a soccer relationship for 20+ years and we have always been bouncing ideas off each other. Our FKK family will benefit from the addition of Vic to our staff. The education component and the teaching methodologies he will bring will give us the cutting edge to be one of the best holistic organizations in the region.
