On January 21-22, 2023, Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Mustoe, Robbie Earle, Tim Howard, plus plenty of special guests, came to the Universal Resort in Orlando for an entire weekend of fun. This amazing lineup was right in our backyard. Premier League Mornings was broadcast live from Universal CityWalk during Fan Fest. The event featured live match screenings, appearances from Premier League legends, interactive games and activities, and opportunities to take photos with the official Premier League trophy. It also included food and drink options and merchandise available for purchase. The Fan Fest was a way for Premier League fans in the United States to come together and enjoy the matches in a festive and exciting atmosphere.
NIKE was center stage at the event with activities taking place in the NIKE Cage. They brought along a team from England to give fans in the US a taste of what it is like to practice with Premier League trainers. Two such personalities were Jamie Reynolds and Courtney Fearon. They have earned the title of NIKE Master Trainer. And thanks to our relationship with NIKE, Florida Kraze Krush was invited to bring players out to showcase our club and our players' abilities in front of the crowd during the Premier League Mornings Live Fan Fest event.
Girls and boys from our 2010 age group started their experience with a training session and skills assessment with Jamie and Courtney. Then they were broken into groups of four consisting of two boys and two girls for a no holds barred 4v4 tournament. After the first round of games, the players were surprised by an appearance from former Chelsea star, Gary Cahill. He jumped on the pitch with Jamie and Courtney for a quick match against some of the FKK players. The tournament concluded with one team going undefeated. This team was awarded jerseys signed by the members of Chelsea given to them by Gary Cahill.
Our club and our players are extremely thankful for this opportunity. A big shout out to NIKE and all of their team members who made this an extra special experience for our 2010 girls and boys.
