FKK's format for our younger Recreational players uses the "In-House" game environment.  We will be having "In-House" Games for our younger players U9-U12 and also have created a new In-House game environment for our older Rec players. Please read the below carefully for program details.

Our U13-U19 teams will play in the Greater Central Florida Youth Soccer League (GCFYSL). Teams are placed according to skill level. The GCFYSL is a travel league with games being played on Saturday with an occasional Sunday match. Teams will play against other clubs with half of the games at HOME and half of the games AWAY.

Teams are coached by parent volunteers supported by the clubs coaching education program. The club's professional coaches also assist the parent volunteers as mentors and program guidance.

IN-HOUSE CO-ED PROGRAM
FOR U9-U12:

  • Practices begin the week of August 17, 2026. Games will start August 29, 2026 and will go through the beginning of November
  • 2 practices per week
  • In-house, all games at home field and within a designated time slot (example: Saturdays from 8:30-11am timeframe)
  • Game fields would be Shane Kelly Park or Central Winds Park
  • Co-ed (boys + girls will be playing on a team together)

This program allows FKK to develop the younger players and prepare them better before beginning to travel or tryout for the select side.

The set game time will allow families to easily plan ahead and around that set game schedule.

NOTE for U12s: FKK will have one U12 team that will play in the GCF league. This team will be made of the higher skilled U12 players that choose to be on a team that is subject to the GCF travel schedule. If a U12 group is at the level to play in the local league, it has to be recommended and be approved by the director of the program.

GCF LEAGUE GAMES FOR U13-U19:

  • Practices begin the week of August 17, 2026. Games will start the end of August (dependent on GCF schedule being released) and go through beginning of November
  • All teams will have 2 practices per week + games on weekends.
  • Teams are boys or girls (no co-ed).
  • All Rec teams will compete in a local league (Central Florida area) and can expect to participate in 1-2 tournaments.
  • Some travel for games may be in Cocoa or Ocala.

IN-HOUSE CO-ED PROGRAM
FOR U15-U19:

  • Practices begin the week of August 17, 2026. Games will start August 29, 2026 and will go through the beginning of November
  • 2 practices per week
  • In-house, all games at home field and within a designated time slot
  • Games day is still being determined, but proposed schedule is: Spring will be Friday night games; Fall will be Saturday morning games
  • Game fields would be Shane Kelly Park or Central Winds Park
  • Co-ed (boys + girls will be playing on a team together)
  • Please see more details below for age groups and details
  • You can register as a team with friends or a "free agent" and be added to a team

This format is designed for players and families who want the flexibility to do other extra curricular activities or simply no longer want the commitment of travel soccer, but enjoy the game.

The set game time will allow players and families to easily plan ahead and around that set game schedule.

IN-HOUSE PROGRAM DETAILS:

U9-10 DETAILS:

  • Teams will be Co-ed
  • Coach will be a volunteer (typically a player parent)
  • 2 practices per week
  • Games will be 7v7 (including goalkeeper)
  • Games will be 2 halves of 20 minutes
  • There will be referees who will also assist in teaching the kids the game
  • Scores and standings will be kept to have a playoff system
  • All games will be held in-house on weekends (no travel)
  • 7 games guaranteed

U11-12 DETAILS:

  • Teams will be Co-ed
  • Coach will be a volunteer (typically a player parent)
  • 2 practices per week
  • Games will be 9v9 (including goalkeeper)
  • Games will be 2 halves of 25 minutes
  • There will be referees
  • Scores and standings will be kept to have a playoff system
  • All games will be held in-house on weekends (no travel)
  • 7 games guaranteed

U15-19 DETAILS:

  • Teams will be Co-ed
  • Coach will be a volunteer (typically a player parent)
  • 2 practices per week
  • Games will be 7v7 (including goalkeeper)
  • Games will be 2 halves of 30 minutes
  • There will be referees
  • Scores and standings will be kept to have a playoff system
  • All games will be held in-house on weekends (no travel)
  • 7 games guaranteed
