Erin Mikalsen was invited to the play on the U17 Jamaican National soccer team and is currently competing in Puerto Rico at the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) World Cup Qualifiers. Erin is able to play on the Jamaican team thru her family's Jamaican decent. Shayla Smart, another FKK player from the U16 Krush Black team will also be joining this young Jamaican team if they make it to the SemiFinals rounds...
- Their first game against Puerto Rico: tied 2-2
- Second game against Berumuda: Win 5-1
- Third game against Cuba: to be played Tuesday, 11/16
- If Jamaican wins the game against Cuba, they will play in the semi-finals/Finals round and then hopefully advance to the CONCACAF Playoffs in Granada in March 2016.
Erin is a junior at Oviedo High School and is currently looking at several universities to play at the collegiate level. She plays on the U17 Krush Black team for FKK.
