Thank you for your patience and understanding while the Tournament Directors have evaluated the best course of action for this weekend.
We would like to make it unequivocally clear that the safety of everyone is of foremost importance to us. We have been in constant dialogue with all club leaders of participating teams as well as facility directors and referee assignors throughout the decision making process.
After taking into consideration all the facts and the latest projections of Hurricane Matthew, the tournament will be cancelled this weekend.
Our first immediate priority is the safety and well being of players, families and officials of every club. The tournament committee will communicate directly with club leaders/DOCs next week regarding a course of action following the cancellation of the event.
We urge everyone to continue to prepare for all possible outcomes as directed by state and local officials. Stay safe everyone.
