Host a Danish Soccer Student!
February 20 – March 2, 2026

For 14 years, FKK families have opened their homes — and their hearts — to visiting soccer players from the EVN school in Denmark. This unforgettable cultural exchange is back, and we’re looking for families to host our Danish guests for a fun and meaningful 10-day visit. You do NOT need to be part of FKK to participate, so please share this opportunity with friends and relatives who may enjoy the experience!

As a host family, you’ll welcome two (or more) EVN students into your home. Weekends are completely yours — whether that means taking them to your child’s games, exploring local Florida favorites, or simply doing everyday family activities. The students love experiencing real American life and are excited to see anything you want to show them. They’ll also share what they’re curious about, making the experience fun and interactive for everyone.

Hosting is a simple way to make a global connection, create friendships that last far beyond their stay, and give your family a unique cultural experience without ever leaving home.

  • Age of Students: 16-17 years old / boys and girls (birth year is 2009)
  • 74 Students Total = 29 girls and 45 boys
  • 35-38 host families needed
  • 2 EVN students per host family (some families can take up to 3-4)  They are paired up so it's easier for them to communicate and they feel comfortable having a friend around.

GENERAL SCHEDULE:

Host Families will have their EVN students on the weekend(s) to do whatever  you want!  They love doing normal family things like running errands, going to your kid's games, etc -- you can show them what you'd like to show them about Florida, but the will also let you know what they are curious about.

During the week -- Monday thru Friday, each host family will have a drop-off location that is convenient to your home.  There will be other families that will share that same location (ie: a Publix parking lot, Wawa, Chick Fil A, etc).  You will drop them off in the early morning so you can go about your day for work/school.  The EVN vans pick up the kids and go do their planned event for that day.

In the evening -- the pickup location will be the same place.  But because of practices, works schedules, and what the EVN students are doing that night, it could change and the EVN staff is very flexible.  They can meet you at the fields or somewhere you need your EVN students need to be dropped off to you.  It's flexible and organized!
