Erin Mikalsen and Shayla Smart represented the country of Jamaica -- and FKK, thru their Jamaican family decent -- and helped the U17 Jamaican National Team win the Caribbean Football Union championship! Erin had an assist to in the 85th minute of the Semi-Finals to cinch the game against Trinidad and Tobago to put them into the Final round winning 1-0. Shayla scored in the first 3 minutes of the Finals game against a hard fought game against Haiti -- winning 2-1.
The girls help move Jamaica into the CONCACAF qualifiers in February 2016 to take place in Grenada. From there, the two top teams will move forward to the U17 World Cup in Jordan.
Shayla plays on the U16 Krush Black team and attends Mount Verde Academy where she is a Sophomore. Erin plays on the U17 Krush Black team and attends Oviedo High School where she is a Junior.
