Congratulations to another Krush Alumnus — Olivia Cole! Samford University, Junior Olivia Cole earned the All-Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year award. The Bulldogs finished SoCon play with a near-perfect 8-1 record and earned the regular-season championship for a second year in a row.
Olivia anchored Samford's defensive back line that set the conference's all-time record by only allowing one goal in league play. The Bulldogs outscored their opponents, 21-1, in SoCon action this season and have only allowed a total of 14 goals in 2015.
When in high school at The First Academy in Orlando, she was also a three-year letter winner in track and field... and played for the Krush 94 Black Premier squad from 2010-12.
