At 2:00 o'clock this afternoon, the FYSA Board of Directors held an emergency meeting to discuss the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that is spreading across the state of Florida. Based on the recent actions taken by the US Soccer Federation (USSF), heightened travel concerns, and with the health of our members in mind, Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) has decided to suspend all state-level related competitions and programs until April 12, 2020.

The following FYSA sponsored programs will be suspended for a period of 30 days:
Commissioners Cup
Presidents Cup
State Cup

FYSA recommends suspension of all FYSA sanctioned activities until April 12, 2020, for our clubs/leagues/affiliated tournaments. We will be reevaluating conditions in 15 days to determine if it's appropriate to reinstate FYSA activities earlier or to extend the suspension. Further communication shall be provided in the coming days.

We want to thank all our FYSA members for your ongoing support of our programs as we manage to address all issues surrounding these circumstances. The safety and security of our soccer community is our highest priority!
