Kraze vs. Weston - Saturday 6pm at Trinity Preparatory Field.
Admission is $5 - All FKK athletes and FKK coaches wearing their colors will be admitted free of charge.
In addition to being the final home game - all 6 FKK players are on the dress roster - David McBroom, Arturo Ydrach, Cutler Coleman, Brando Jose, Phil D'Amico, Teague Coleman. Here's Head Coach Joe Avallone's take on the season and Saturday's game:
"A huge part of development is playing matches outside your norm and comfort zone. If the American player is to advance we must realize this fact. It's not about winning at this level it's about identifying kids that can handle this jump. Players like Graham Zusi at age 16 were wearing a Kraze Jersey and playing against 19-23 year olds. Playing against stronger faster, smarter player can only help your growth in soccer. Soccer is about decision making and the quicker you can play and make higher level choices the faster you will be ready. It's truly a Small window in a career of a soccer player so loosing these valuable steps hurts Look at the top players and countries. Safe to assume Chile who just won the Copa America were not playing U18 vs U18 to develop. Players like Cutler Coleman and Phil D'Amico have been playing summer matches and earned starting positions on the Kraze NPSL team at 16/17 years of age. The Kraze NPSL team is now up to six U18 playing at this level. "
Come on out and cheer the men on! Go KRAZE!!
